Our Story

Dried Fruit Farms, a family farm located in California, grows, dries and produces premium sun-dried fruits for industrial ingredient and foodservice customers around the world, as well as for our own line of Dried Fruit home-grown products, including the award-winning Dried Fruit California Sun-Dried Cherries and Seasonings.

That's what we do. As for why we do it, that's another story.

Dennis Home Grown is “built on the traditions our family brought with us from the Old World, including the time-honored method of sun-drying tomatoes and the food-lover's belief in the ‘slow is good’ lifestyle. Then we grew with California, harnessing the energy of its immense sunshine and carrying forward the spirit of California's technological innovations, including sustainable and organic farming, as well as water and waste management.
